Isle of Man-based gambling software company, Microgaming, has partnered with online casino games developer Eyecon in a deal that will see it’s customers gain access to the Australian game studio’s entire collection of slots.
Included in the agreement, popular titles such as Temple of Isis, Shaman’s Dream, and Fluffy Favourites, the first in the Fluffy series, will join Microgaming’s platform, which supplies more than 800 top gaming brands across the globe, in over 20 regulated markets.
“Looking forward to a successful and mutually-beneficial partnership with Eyecon.”
Commenting on the new partnership, Paul Gielbert, Commercial Director for Eyecon, said…
“We are really excited to launch Eyecon’s extensive portfolio of games across Microgaming’s content platform. This is a great opportunity for us to increase the reach of our games, along with our enhanced engagement tools, via the huge distribution that Microgaming offers. This is a compelling partnership that will provide Microgaming customers and their players with well known, market-leading titles.”
Eyecon joins Playtech family:
Estonia-founded software company Playtech plc acquired Eyecon in early 2017 for a total consideration of £50 million. In addition to strengthening the company’s bingo distribution network, the purchase gave it access to industry-leading slots content, all of which are available to Playtech’s bingo licensees.
Commercial Director for Microgaming, Leon Thomas, also commented on the collaboration, stating…
“Looking forward to a successful and mutually-beneficial partnership with Eyecon. The deal will enable Microgaming to bolster its content offering with Eyecon’s iconic collection of casino slots, while also providing Eyecon with significantly greater exposure, scale and reach.
“Microgaming continues to collaborate with top-performing content partners such as Eyecon to keep its diverse, industry-leading games portfolio fresh and innovative for its customers.”
Significant reach:
Founded in 1997, Eyecon has developed more than 70 games and established its own remote gaming server (RGS), which provides content direct to major firms, such as Gala Bingo, William Hill, Vera&John, bet365, Lottoland, GVC Holdings, 888, Virtue Fusion, Playtech’s bingo network, and popular online operator, Videoslots, among others.
